Hey, Jack,

I just read the new story. Great job and thanks for the emails notifying everyone the story was there. Bryce is certainly a character and is a favorite of mine. I loved the story with the teddy bear tantrum!

Everybody loves a spanking, as long as they’re not the ones getting it.

Truer words were never spoken... but for some of us loving the spankings we're getting ourselves is an acquired taste!

There's not much to say about this story, except to apologize for it taking so long. It's all Robert Jordan's fault. I've been re-reading his Wheel of Time series, prior to reading the new book that came out a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not in the eleventh book (most of the books are between six hundred and a thousand pages). I'm trying to work on Bransom, but it's hard when I'm in the middle of a really great story.

As the newsletter stated, this story occurred Saturday afternoon, and I just had to write it up immediately. I'd really hoped to get it posted yesterday, but there were just too many other things going on. For one thing, I just couldn't pass up the chance to play some 'Clix with Ryan, Cam, and Kevin C. (That's going to be a problem, since Kevin Wales still hangs around a lot). Yesterday we had kids in and out all day, and it just took a lot ...

This is a pretty straight forward story, so there's not much to say about it. There are more stories with Raymond (and Freddy) and I'm sure I'll get around to sharing them some day.

I think there were two reasons I decided to write this one just now. First, because it was a quick and easy little story, which appealed to me right now. Second, I think I was remembering it because of my run in with Wheels last weekend. It's hard for me to not ...

First, I did not write this story in one day. I was almost finished with this story Saturday morning (I think I'd just started the spanking scene), when I had to leave for soccer, then had company, naughty boys, and decided to write that story up. It took me until late afternoon Sunday to finish Visitors - 2, then I had to edit it Monday morning, so I only finished this late afternoon yesterday, and got it to Kat to edit. I actually started working on this story a while back. I let Kat read the first few pages, but then started wondering about exactly where to go with it. I played around with events until I found a way to make a natural break. I'm planning (and you know what Burns said, but we can still hope) to do the next story next week. Not much to say about this one. It includes almost everything but the kitchen sink.

I do have a few more stories to tell with both boys, and will do them one day.

I would like to say a word or two about the last conversation. First of all, I don't think Steve is or was a spanko. The fact of the matter is that his three best friends at that time weren't really spanked by their parents. When this story starts, he'd just turned 13. His ...

This is really a pretty straight-forward story. I decided to write it mostly because Steve/Stevie has been making cameos and guest-appearances, and I thought it was time for him to get his very own story.

This obviously isn't the first spanking I gave him, but I thought it was more interesting in some ways, so I went with it. Besides. this is also much closer to the period where he's been appearing in other stories.

This one is a little different, but similar to some of the longer stories I've done recently.

I'd originally planned this as two, or maybe even three stories (strip poker, lessons, and the spanking). That was back when I was planning to do all this in chronological order. Since I've been skipping around so much, and since most of my stories are set modern day, I thought it was best to condense them and get the entire thing into one package. ...

There's not a lot to tell about this story, except why I decided to write it now.

As I said in the story, Dillon and I became best friends once he reached adulthood, and stayed close for several years. Once he moved to Dallas (and my house began to fill with kids) we drifted apart. However, I got a call from me last week asking if I could keep his step-son for a few days. This is the spanking that I mentioned last Tuesday morning. I decided to write it up because it was the first time I paddled Tristan, which made it different enough for a full story.

However, I was very unhappy with how it came out. I sent it to Kat for editing, but was seriously thinking about scrapping it, when he pointed out to me how similar it was to Rambling Men. With a little re-writing with that in mind, I was much happier with ...

This was a very cute story. That Mrs. Malone is not someone a young boy should mess with. I noticed that she paddled harder than you do because she delivered less swats.

I thought it was funny that Donny was peaking in the window. I bet his spanking was worse than Van's.

I also liked when you carried Van after everything was over. How many more spankings did Van get from Mrs. Malone during first grade? I hope not too many and I bet if he did he told you about them!

Not much to say about this one, since I discussed in somewhat in the blog when it happened.

Skater, I hope you think I wasn't too harsh with the little guy.

It is hard to always think of exactly what you're going to say; but, this story shows one of the reasons that you do have to be careful. I think the idea of not going to camp was a lot worse for them than the actual spanking. To me, it was like saying 'Santa won't bring any gifts if you don't behave'. I really didn't have anything to say about this one, until Kat made some non-editorial comments, so now there are two issues I'd like to address.

First, he thought maybe I was a little too harsh in this instance, because 'there's an unwritten rule that you can borrow stuff from your siblings.' I went back and addressed this a bit in the story, but let me tell you a little story.

In high school, I was a preppy and a bit of a close horse. ...

I wrote most of this story Friday night and Saturday morning. Then I just had to find time to finish and edit it. The reason I decided to write this story was because I was filling the Van and SUV for our trip to pick the boys up Saturday and someone walked up behind me at the pump and said, 'Mr. Wells?' Well, when I see someone that I've not ran into since he was in middle school, and I have a story about them to tell, I feel that I should ...

I literally woke up with this idea this morning and wrote the entire thing in about 45 minutes. The only reason it wasn't posted earlier was because I had to get the kids to school, and I need to be at work at 8am on Wednesdays.

At first, I was thinking of writing this as a fiction story, but then the idea of using it with one of Van's spankings that would have never made a story on it's own occurred to me, and it was off to the races.

That first day with Noah was very intense for both of us. Remember, I was separated from my beloved step-father about the time I turned 7 (and didn't know he wasn't my real father until then). I never liked my second step-father, and didn't meet my real father until I was 10.

This story is powerful. The way you describe the emotion of the whole scene is very impressive.

I think the whole Spanky Bear is a good idea for the younger kids. I first I thought Bryce temper tantrum was funny but on another level it made me sad for his distress. I'm glad Barry's mom is a teddy surgeon. That was lucky.

Okay, this should actually be Tommy AND BRANDON and The Sixth Sense, but I wanted to keep it similar to the other Tommy titles.

Since this isn't my first Tommy story, I don't develop the character as much as I do in some places. However, since he's not living with me now, he doesn't get mentioned much on the forum either. I'm not even sure why I decided to do this story now (except that I thought Skater would like it).

There's not a lot to say about this one. Not long ago, I was thinking of how different twelve year old boys can be, even from each other, and thinking about twelve year old boys I've known over the years. This story came to mind, and I decided to write it. Because it's out of order, in regards to things that happened in our past, it goes into a lot of detail and background information, though I hope I worked it into the story in such a way that it ...

Not a lot to say about this story. If you don't get the idea from the stories he's been in, Ryan Hunter was one of my favorite kids of all time, including mine. I loved him while he was growing up, and he and I are still close friends. As a matter of fact, I've always thought it a real shame that he was straight.

I'm working on a couple of longer stories; but, as I said in my last blog entry, I've been doing fiction for the Bransom Writers' ...

First of all, let me say that this isn't one of the stories on which I'd planned to work. I don't know if it was a dream or what, but I awoke Sunday morning thinking about these two, and the story was half finished by the time I needed to start fixing breakfast. When something pops into my mind and I'm in a position to start writing it on immediately, it always seems to go fast and good.

As to the story itself, I honestly don't think Bill ...

Not a lot to say about this one. There are sequels and I will try to get to them, but there's a lot of stuff, in life and writing, on my plate at this time.

I would really like to hear from everybody about this one. I'm trying something a bit different with the structure, and I want to know how you feel about it. Was it easy to follow? Was it confusing? Was it too long or distracting? If you don't want to post here, send me a PM or ...

I'd given up hope of giving this spanking. I really did enjoy the movie, but I have to admit that it was a little hard to concentrate on it, thinking about getting the boy over my lap.

I really wanted to get this story posted as soon as I could. While I feel bad for Cameron and know it was rough on him, it didn't have the levels of emotional problems that some stories have for me, making them hard to write.
