I guess my backlog is getting posted!

I like writing about Henry, since he has a little different background than the other Talbot boys, and has a real open heart, not quite as self-centered as Jay.

I wanted to write something that suggested something about personal social responsibility and to get things back on track for the family as the central focus away from the extended crowd.

Please enjoy: Jkher - The Talbot Family Part 31 – The Gift

Geez, are they ever going to stop getting better?

This is one of those 'feel good' stories with a timely message. Kind of kicks me in the "I should do more" department!

A great romp with a truly moving end; well done and both votes as always!

Just when you think they couldn't possibly get any better, they do.

Both votes, and the rest of the Kleenex Jason Talbot always carries as a father of five boys.

Well done!

Very glad that you (and we!) didn't have too long to wait for this episode.

Nice one Jk, as usual!

I love little Henri!

Ya know, if he hangs out with English speakers a little longer, he may even start to pick up the lingo! Very Happy

Then again! It's good for the other kids to know a little French!

May be a house speaking 'Franglaise' soon huh? Smile

I really do like writing about Henry, and he was a character I introduced just to stir things up a bit and give myself an opportunity to write about the boys accepting a brother, something I gloss over in the first story.

I think Henry will be speaking more English in the future to make him a little more accessible, as well, his confidence in English will grow.

Thanks everyone for supporting this story. The next two are more of a "fun" ones before the wedding.

Martinet, eh? Hmmmm....

Don't have him speaking too much English Jk!

That'd spoil the fun!

It's be nice if he made some funny little English mistakes, especially spank-botty related! Very Happy

But the Martinet!!!

Awwww!

How could you on his dear wittle botty!

I just wanna hug him all the time! Smile

More notes of appreciation, keep 'em coming.

I like the inclusion of French too, it stops the flow momentarily and inhibits a tendency to skim if the story is long.

The Martinet? .... I guess it would be 'educational' for Henri's brothers to appreciate how children are punished in his home country.
