Your fourteen year old son, Braxton, wanted to attend a New Year's Eve party with some older friends. The party was unsupervised so you said no. Surprisingly, Braxton seemed OK with your decision and elected instead to go watch the town's fireworks display.
It is 1:00am and the police just dropped Braxton off at your house. They responded to a noise complaint at a party and found unsupervised teens and underage drinking. Braxton is very drunk and he was barely able to tell the officers where he lived. No charges will be filed on Braxton and the police release him to your care. It seems Braxton did not go to the fireworks show but sneaked off to the party instead.
Will you be having a fireworks show of your own?
