A Late Chat Production
You are the parent of two cute little guys. Todd and Tyler - six and five, are only 10 months apart and very close. They are inseparable.
You have a cabin on some rural land, and the whole family likes to visit often. No TV, no phone and no electronics, but the boys have active imaginations and whole outdoors to play in.
Part of the challenge of unplugged living is meal time though. Water comes from a well, hand-pumped, and meals are cooked on an old woodfire stove. You try to be ready and have all hands on deck, because when the sun goes down, clean up becomes all the harder, but you also appreciate how much the boys love their time out and about.
"Boys! Time for supper," you call to the dynamic duo. They're playing on some rocks above a small stream.
"Daddy! We're surrounded by sharks!" they call back.
"That's nice, but it's time for supper!" It's almost impossible to keep food warm without a microwave. "C'mon in! Wash up and help with the table."
"Sharks, Daddy! SHARKS!"
"Five minutes," you concede and head in to help with the meal.
More that five minutes later, your two are still marooned on their rock...
How you do get them off it?
