Catch of the Day
An Ivor Production

You have been off work for the past few days suffering with the flu. Today though you feel much better and decide to go for a walk with the intention of returning to work tomorrow.

On your walk you see:

your 13 year old son Tim who has bunked off from school. No wonder he looks surprised to see you as he thought you were in bed!

It turns out that yesterday (Wednesday) he sent an email to the school in your name saying that he had caught the 'flu from you and wouldn't be fit to attend for the rest of the week.

For how many offences are you going to spank him? Do you feel strong enough to do the job properly or are you just going to march him to school and let the vice principal deliver a sound paddling?

Can you dig it?

I think he's for a spanking at home and the paddling at school

Can you dig it?

I'm not much for double jeopardy but I agree here.

David M. Katz

Maybe I should join him?

I will take him home. I will handle the spanking for the lying and skipping myself.

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Though he was supposed to be there I somehow don't think that is a school matter. The deed was done at home and will be dealt with at home.

The 'flu must have gone to my brain - Thinking of restarting work on a Friday?? affraid

I reckon a good switching with the whippy end of his rod would be an appropriate end to Tim's day bunking off.

Tomorrow - Friday??

He can choose between facing the Vice Principals paddle or starting the day with a moderate strapping before we go fishing together Twisted Evil

for forgery, bunking off without my permission and lies he's getting the strap from me. I won' stand in the schools way  if they wish to impose more consquences tomorrow

I'm going to say ditto to David's reply

"The good news, Tim, is that you still get today off. I don't think you'll recover from the switching you're about to get in time for me to take you to school today."

"In the end, it's just a story. But if you ask me, it's all true."

Stone Man

Tim is definitely in for a stropping from me. What the school does when Tim tells them what he did will be up to them.
