Great Expectations
A Skater Production

Your twelve year old son Jacob has been a cranky kid all evening. You had some relatives over and he's bee a little rude and short tempered. Finally you send him to his room to wait for you.

You go there with the intention of trying to find out what's wrong with him and to chill him out a little. You don't have any thought of giving him a spanking.

He seems to be expecting a spanking. Are you going to give him one?

Can you dig it?

David M. Katz

It will all depend on our talk.

If he confesses to something and needs help getting closure then a spanking may be appropriate.

But, maybe he has just had a bad day. Perhaps a back rub will help. Maybe he needs me to hold him and let him cry it out.

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Seems as if he's just a little constipated... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'll just give him a nice soapy enema and all... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

WE talk and see where it leads.

Stone Man

DMK has said it all for me.

Aww. He is too beautiful to spank. I don't want to see him cry. Sad

I think he needs a great big hug.

He can't be that expecting as his jeans are still on, or maybe he is just hoping that he will escape why is why they are still up.

I think it's a 50/50 situation at present and we need a talk to discover more before a decision is made.

Cranky - a little rude and short tempered.  .........not a hanging offence - it happens to us all.

He's had time to think.  I'll open a conversation, sympathetically at first..............?

The end result really hangs on 'tude.

"You're not normally like this. Is something bothering you?"

Back rubs optional, but recommended.

"In the end, it's just a story. But if you ask me, it's all true."

I also vote for the majority. This is one of those father-son talks that will involve only talking.

No! That'll teach him! Wink

I'm also in agreement with the majority.

I'm not going against the tide!! We all have bad days; we'll talk it out and see where it goes from there. Perhaps indeed a hug/backrub is called for in this instance; if not, well he IS in position! Twisted Evil

I want to know whats eating him if he's acting out of character. I hope we can just talk this one through. An early night may be on the agenda but as MM says Jacobs attitude will be a determining factor
