An Ivor Production
About half an hour ago you sent your 13 year old son Todd to his bedroom to prepare himself for a spanking. Normally you eave him for 5 minutes or so but you had a phone call which you had to take and now about 30 minutes have elapsed.

When you go into Todd's room this is what you see:

Buster is very much Todd's cat and doesn't like you. He has in the past been known to attack and scratch & bite you.

Are you going to take the risk or not? You have always told Todd that any spanking due will be delivered promptly and not left for 'later'

just as soon as the "cat nap" is over it's time for the lap dance

Perhaps Todd's offense was due to the fact he needed some rest? I get crabby when I am tired too.

I am going to let him sleep.

When he wakes up we will discuss the issue. If the spanking is still needed then it will happen. If not then the nap was good for him.

If Buster is going to be a problem and if Todd is going to get a spanking then Todd can secure the kitty in a bathroom until the spanking is over.

Really, it depends on why he's in trouble. If he pushed too hard and it could have been because he was overtired, I might let it go. If it's something serious, I'll wake him. If it's in between, I'll wait until he wakes. Then I'm taking the cat to get it declawed!

I hope Buster isn't a reflection of his 'owner'!  I  think it does depend to an extent what Todd did but I don't think my credibility with Todd will count for much if I don't carry through at least to some extent. For now I will let sleeping er... cats lie and will deal with Todd later when Buster is out for his evening constitutional

I'll spank Todd and if the cat does bite me it's off to the vet to be put down...

I shan't have a vicious animal in the house which might attack someone else and leave me open to a lawsuit and all...

The cat looks like he is doing it for me Razz
I'll wait till he wakes up then deal with it, once the cat is away and everything.

Fortunately an operation that no reputable vet in the UK will perform.

I'm going to call in reinforcements - my Jack Russell terrier who terrorises the cat - then deal with the matter in hand.

I am glad to hear that Ivor, i wish that was true here! I do not understand why anyone who likes cats would want one without claws!

I love cats, and I wouldn't think of having one declawed... unless it made a habit of attacking and scratching people...

I'm with Katz. Perhaps Buster is just a one person cat. Perhaps he has a traumatic past and only trusts one person. It may be that I need to make more of an effort to win Buster over. In any case, I'll consult a vet. Animals are like people; sometimes they have a chemical imbalance that contributes to anti-social behavior. The right medication can make a big difference.

Seeing Todd like that I haven't the heart to spank him, besides its my own fault in delaying the spanking I had planned to give him. As for the cat, I too love cats, and Todd's is being very protective toward him.
