Your eleven year old son, Trevor, is a rather enterprising and entrepreneurial boy. Trevor discovered that he could walk along the local train tracks and collect scraps of metal and then he could sell the scraps to a local scrap dealer for good pocket money.
You found out about Trevor's "business" when a police officer brought him home. There were no charges. The officer did say the practice was unsafe and Trevor was trespassing on railroad property. You told Trevor he was no longer allowed to collect scrap metal at the train tracks.
