A JohnRoss Production
Your son Mark is 13 years old and while he is punished with spanking he is also subjected to loss of privileges such as computer, video games, and cell phone. Earlier in the week you had gotten a note from his teacher that he has not been paying attention and disrupting his math class. As a consequence you gave him the choice of loss of his phone and coming straight home from school, or a spanking and Mark chose losing his phone for a week. However two days later you are walking past his room and you see this.
You ask him how he got his phone and who is he texting. He apologizes and says he needed to message a friend about an assignment. When you ask to see the phone to confirm he becomes defensive and tells you, "It's my phone and you have no right to look at it."
Is he right? Is he hiding something? What do you do?
