Today, you have two groups of kids with you. You have the younger three Strouse children, while their parents handle some paperwork with a lawyer in the city, and have dinner together after to avoid traffic. You also have the younger Marchant boys, while their parents enjoy a rare night out together.
Most of the kids are hanging with their friends, or entertaining themselves. Apparently 8-year old Ennis got separated or bored. While putting away laundry, you catch Ennis coming out of Parker's room with some skateboarding equipment. Parker is no where around, which means Ennis is violating one of your house rules. You happen to know that his parents have the same rule, and the same penalty for violating it.
You check with Parker just to be sure. Ennis was just getting Parker's old, 'knock around' gear, which Parker has let the younger boy use before, but he didn't have permission to get it. While a spanking is warranted, you decide it could be an understandable mistake, so you explain things to Ennis, then let him off with just a time out.

You take a quick run to the bathroom. When you come back, Ennis is not in the corner, though his time is barely half done. You quickly track him down, now playing with Eli.
"Eli told me to come play instead, Uncle," the nervous escapee tells you.
"I did not," Eli insists. "I told him to come play when he could."
"Are you supposed to talk to someone who's in time out, Eli?"
"No," he admits relucatantly.
Back to the corner, over your knee, and will you be serving one or two?
