Cat or Cat o' Nine Tails?
An Ivor Production

You are French. You have recently moved to a new house with your 13 year old son Pierre.

He has never had any pets, nor has he shown any desire to have any. However, since moving here he seems to have become entranced with the cat that belongs to a lady who lives a couple of houses away. You have come home several times to find the cat in the house either playing with or being cuddled by Pierre.

A couple of weeks ago the lady in question came to you and made a complaint that Pierre was enticing her cat to move in with you. You assured her that you did not want her cat and told Pierre that he must not have that cat in the house again - or else.

Pierre is aware that 'or else' means a bare bottom session with 'le martinet'

Today you come home and see:

Is Pierre in for it? Are those sweat pants coming down and Pierre be about to lay face down on the chaise longue?
Or should the cat get spanked?

Can you dig it?

Pierre is getting spanked but I think we should keep the cat and name it Jody

Can you dig it?

I will have Pierre take the kitty home to the lady.

It is very possible the cat showed up on its own and Pierre just let it in.

I see no reason to punish the boy (or the cat.)

Perhaps it is time to get Pierre a cat of his own. Very Happy

I agree with Katz and Kier -- K Club. Pierre needs his own cat. We'll adopt one as soon as we can.

I basically agree with the K Club. We should have already gotten a cat for Pierre. However, he was very specifically told what would happen if he let the cat in the house again. I think the sweats are coming off, Pierre is fetching the martinet, and then he'll have a chance to convince me why I shouldn't keep my promise.

"In the end, it's just a story. But if you ask me, it's all true."

.........................and told Pierre that he must not have that cat in the house again - or else.

We appear to have moved into a new house with fine furnishings that will be in danger with an unknown cat's claws around.  Pierre has been warned and now he is in for a de luxe meeting with le martinet.

Afterwards, if he has truly developed an interest in owning a pet we can discuss both this and the responsibilities entailed; - but I'll be steering him towards a dog.

Pierre was told so I cannot send the wrong signals. Much as it pains me. I think I will have to prop Pierre's bottom up with a couple of pillows and let the tails do their worst. Then we can have a serious chat bout what owning a cat really means and see if Pierre wants that commitment

I promised, so I have to deliver - but I'll also take delivery of a cat-hating little terrier for him to care for in future!

Skateski, it's nothing like the real Jodie!

and Pierre does appear to possess a very spankable bottom. Very Happy
