You have two sons: Jake is 13 and Eddie is 6.

Despite their age differences they get on extremely well. Jake adores his little brother - he told you two or three years ago that he always wanted one, but thought he was never going to have one. He is very protective of him and tries to include him in many of his activities. For his part Eddie loves his big brother, looks up to him and will try his best to emulate him.

Both boy do get spanked - but not often. Jake has 'graduated' to the hairbrush while Eddie is hand spanked over your knee.

Jake is a keen skateboarder and you insist that he always wears his protective gear, although you strongly suspect there are occasions when he doesn't. Eddie has been pestering his big brother for some months now to teach him how to board.

You are driving home from work today when you see:

The pair are on a street and neither are wearing any protective gear.

Are either or both getting a spanking?

Can you dig it?

I'm not spanking either one of them for this because I want to encourage the togetherness.

Seems as though I find another reason to get Jake OTK again though Twisted Evil

Can you dig it?

There are times when commonsense trumps rigid "one size fits all" rule.

This is one of them.

No. While it's a good habit to wear protective gear, with both boys on their knees, going 1/2 mph, what's it meant to protect them FROM? I don't always buckle my seatbelt, if I'm just backing my car out of the garage enough to sweep. Once again, zero tolerance is EVIL.

"Jake, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that this is all you've been doing. I doubt you want Eddie to learn about wearing his protective equipment by watching you get the brush, so let's not make a habit of this."

I think that'll do the job well enough.

I totally agree with the consensus.

"Jake; Since it seems that your hair is now so long that your headgear no longer fits, I'll just take the pair of you to the barbers. You'll then be able to teach your little brother proper safety techniques, won't you?"

I agree with the rest also.

I think I willtake their helmets out to them and politely to them to put them on if they wish to continue what they are doing. Last warning boys
