The Halloween Costume
An *Anonymous Production

This is what your ten year old son Peter wants to be on Halloween:

Do you let him buy the costume and wear it to his class' Halloween party?  It's not cheap, but you could splurge on it if you want to and all...

*As a bonus, the author of this BOTD wants to know if anyone can guess his/her identity. Razz

My problem with this costume is not the theme but the size.  The outhouse part looks very bulky and cumbersome and I do not think Peter will be able to move around and have a good time.

I am going to explain this to Peter and tell him we will not be buying this costume.  Perhaps his Uncle Thermi could fashion him a costume and all?

(Perhaps Peter will throw a tantrum at my news and thereby give me a chance to give him a spanking.   Twisted Evil   Twisted Evil  )

* As to the 'anonymous author,' I know who wrote it and so I will not answer.

No. I understand how this appeals to a juvenile since of humor, but I don't feel it's appropriate. I will allow a vote on the issue, though - each dollar contributed towards the cost of the costume equals one vote.

I'm with Katz on the size and bulkyness of the costume and I like jacks idea of the vote but I was think more along the lines of swats per dollar.... Twisted Evil

As for author I'm gonna make a guess of Stevie...

P.S. Cool and different costume

Why would anyone think Stevie did this and all? Shocked

If it were for trick-or-treating, I wouldn't have a problem. Katz is right, however, about its being too bulky for a class party. Maybe we can compromise.

Why, indeed, Stevie, would anyone imagine a Port-o-Potty costume has anything to do with you? It's not as if you ever expressed any interest in plumbing, toilets or shit. Razz

If used as 'trick or treat' costume one hates to imagine what tricks might be deposited on non treat givers!

I really cant see that being a lot of fun for very long. Think Peter will be getting a laugh from his classmates then what. I think will gently dissuade himHe will be stuck with that load on. Must say Uncle Thermy does give him some funny notions. May be he could do M-Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter books

Trailboss
yes... Stevie did it... and like most of his BOTDs, it was a flop and all...

Well Stevie, this Halloween stuff is pretty much exclusive to your side of the big pond.
