I wish you much strength, Pi, and the best possible evolution of your illness. I hope you can recover and look back at this as something of the past.

RIP 9 Jan 47 - 17 June 17
I have accepted, somewhat reluctantly, that I must now be prepared to ask for help, both physical and personal - at least until there is significant improvement in my condition.

Best wishes Pi. Hope the setback soon gets sorted and you can get back onto proper treatment for your prime sickness.

Hugs and hugs PI, it is sometimes hard to accept that you need help, I am glad that you have people around you that can take care of you.
You need your strength to get better.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I love you

FYI. Pi has posted this on MMSA forum:

Pi Beta wrote:I'm not really sure where I should post this. I've had a number of readers asking when they might see another story from me. My present position is that I have been laid low by aggressive cancer treatment that has failed and am now being treated to regain some strength and recover from a myriad of blood clots in both lungs. This is a slow process and there has recently been a further development that suggests that the cancer has spread. Writing is one of the last of my priorities at this time and I would suggest that the 148 stories on the archive may well be my lifetime total.

Since I rarely visit the archive at the moment I would suggest that anyone wishing to respond to me uses e-mail.

As someone who has really enjoyed your stories, I'm really sorry to hear that.

As someone who considers you a friend, I hope you are able to regain enough strength that you can spend more time doing the things you enjoy.

Whatever happens, we're remembering you.

Rest in peace, Pi. This is very sad news. Pi wrote many fine stories for which he will be fondly remembered. I am glad we were able to have closure and to know that he is no longer suffering.
