A Memory Man Production

11yo Michael is your only son.  He is an ebullient gregarious kid who has formed such a close friendship with Pete and Don, two of his classmates that they are almost inseparable.  The boys are generally well behaved and trustworthy and weekend sleepovers have become something of a norm rather than rare treats.  You do spank Michael when necessary and the three sets of parents have agreed reciprocal permissions on these occasions.

Today Mike has earned a spanking but as you take him across your lap and are about begin to redden his pale pert little cheeks you notice they are criss-crossed with faint stripes.

On interrogation you discover that he plays spanking games with his two buddies and that they have been experimenting with various switches.

Does this discovery affect the impending event?

Will you take any other action in the light of your new found knowledge and risk souring a close friendship?  Or is it a case of  "Boys will be Boys"?

Continue as planned.

Warn about possible dangers and excess of those games but don't prohibit (as that would be counter productive).

I agree with Y Lee - It's Boys Will Be Boys.  I think this is a harmless game.

One way to deal constructively with a frightening situation such as parental CP is to simulate it under controlled conditions, and that's what spanking play can be - a way to defuse the fear associated with an actual spanking that is not under their control.  In that way they are conditioning themselves to accept an actual spanking without panic.

Warnings are appropriate in this case since they are playing with switches and leaving marks.  A switch used incorrectly can break the skin at the tip and draw blood, and they need to know how to avoid that, even if that requires me to go into some detail about how to do it right.

(Do you think they will ask me to demonstrate the correct technique? Twisted Evil )

I agree with Y Lee and Adric

I also agree. No need to exaggerate the situation.

I agree. Not concerning and doesn't affect the current procedure, as long as there's no real damage.

If they were even a little bit older, I might be more concerned. At 11, things will proceed as planned.

Later, we might have a bit of discussion about exactly what they're playing, and why they're using switches, but I just don't see this as a huge deal.

"In the end, it's just a story. But if you ask me, it's all true."

I can't see any need to nip it in the bud.

Stevie is a little concerned about the physical risks involved; switches can leave bruising and cuts that might become infected... there is also the chance that one of the boys might get carried away and do more damage than he intended...

Stevie might wish to have a little chat with the lad about the dangers of this type of behaviour and all...

I would chalk up the spanking games to "boys being boys."  I engaged in them as a preteen myself.

It would not, however, prevent me from giving him his well deserved bare bottom spanking.

Sometime, in the near future, I would discuss the safeguards to their spanking exploration and advise him to avoid implements that would cause welts or cuts.  I would, from time to time, check out his bare bottom, when he was asleep, to make they were not overdoing it.

I agree with Y Lee, Adric and all the other posters too

and give him his deserved spanking.

And then the thin pale lines are disappeared on the boys red glowing buttocks
